Welcome to Advanced Waterjet & Engraving, Anaheim California

Advanced Waterjet & Engraving caters to those with a need for a quick turn around and a small production amount (1000 pieces or less).  From Art to Architectural, Aerospace to Industrial, we pride ourselves on precision and perfection of your project.  We have the capability to water jet cut virtually any solid up to 6 inches thick from both conductive and non-conductive materials.   Water jet cutting is much faster than wire EDM and does not leave a "heat affected zone" like laser or plasma cutting.

Do you need a prototype made?  Then we are the waterjet shop for you.   We have full CAD capabilities to help you with your project and a cutting area of 4 X 8 feet using the OMAX 55100.  With years of design experience under our belts, Advanced Waterjet & Engraving can serve your cutting needs.  Whether it is a one of a kind decorative grating or hundreds of stainless steel parts, we can help you.   We also offer engraving services using our 35w CO2 Universal laser which has a working area of 18"x 32".  We can laser engrave acrylic, glass, wood, paper, nylon, rubber, vinyl, leather, corain, anodized aluminum, stone and lots of other materials.

We now have an ultra- high precision Omax 26x52 Waterjet with a tilt-a-jet for those jobs that need extreme accuracy.

What is Water Jet Cutting?

A high pressure pump in conjunction with a very small nozzel opening produces a very fine, high pressure stream of water that alone can cut many materials. An abrasive (garnet) is added to the stream of high pressure water just before it leaves the nozzel accentuating the cutting ability. This method of cutting produces a clean cut that doesn't usually require any secondary operations such as de-burring or sanding.  The material to be cut is layed in the tank (which is filled with water), on top of slates. The cutting nozzel travels on an arm that can traverse x, y, and z axis allowing full cutting range. The material can either be cut submerged or above the water. The whole procedure is run from a computer attached to the waterjet using proprietary software.    For more information on waterjet cutting, visit www. waterjets.org .
